Stay Finder ("we", "us") is a product of Zentara Technologies Private Limited. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who sees it, and the choices you have. By using Stay Finder you agree to it.

1. What we collect

• Account details: your mobile number (verified by OTP) and your name. Email, gender, whether you are a student or working, and where you work or study are optional.
• Your activity: enquiries you send (including your message), PGs you save, and a count of taps on the WhatsApp, Call and map buttons.
• Location: only if you allow it in your browser. We keep it in a cookie on your own device for up to 24 hours to sort PGs by distance. We do not store a history of your location on our servers.
• Technical data: cookies that keep you logged in and secure, a setting on your device for the list layout you prefer, and basic server logs (such as IP address and browser type).

2. Why we use it

• To log you in, show nearby PGs, and let you save and enquire about PGs.
• To pass your enquiry to the PG owner so they can contact you.
• To keep the service safe, prevent misuse, fix problems and improve Stay Finder.
• To reply to your feedback and support requests.

3. Who sees your data

• PG owners: when you send an enquiry, the owner receives your name, mobile number and message. When you tap WhatsApp or Call, you contact the owner directly.
• Service providers who help us run the service, such as hosting and SMS delivery, only as needed to do so.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your profile, saved PGs and enquiries from our systems, except records we must keep by law.

5. Your rights

You can access and correct your details in Account, withdraw consent, ask us to delete your account (Account → Delete my account), and raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer. You may also nominate another person to exercise these rights for you.

6. Security

We use reasonable safeguards, such as encrypted connections and OTP login. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your phone and OTP private.

7. Children

Stay Finder is meant for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
